Delivering on Agent Experience

Published on: April 7, 2021
Delivering on Agent Experience

In the digital world where competition is intense, selling your products and services not only requires a focus on the value of your offering, but also an optimization in the value you bring to your distribution partners. For many insurers, this means an investment in improving the experience of their agents so that they can sell and service more efficiently. When it comes to delivering on agent experience, however, prioritizing where to start—what part of the agent process, which technologies, how to design the experience, etc.—to make the biggest impact is often a big challenge.

Erie Insurance understands this challenge well. Selling only through agents, Erie knew it was critical for them to design an experience that would allow their agents to efficiently and effectively sell Erie’s products as well as service Erie’s customers. For their commercial lines program, Erie worked closely with agents to understand their essential activities and the challenges they encounter in their day-to-day work. Leveraging a low-code/no code platform, Erie was able to develop applications quickly to support agents’ quote and bind process, delivering an agent portal that supports the growth ambitions of the company.

Watch this on-demand webinar featuring Erie, Celent and ValueMomentum to learn:

  • What to consider in developing an optimal experience for Agents
